Record the most summits in one day on Mount Everest

Report: Feyzan Lakhani. At the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest, where the highest number of climbers have successfully reached the summit in one day, another record has been set and a new world record has been set.

Nepal has issued 500 climbing permits this season and as the weather improves, there is a flood of climbers on Everest.

As the weather improved on May 21, 274 climbers set a new record for the summit of Everest, while the previous record for the successful summit of Everest in one day was 223 climbers in 2019.

Long lines were seen in the “death zone” above 8,000 meters on Everest, where this season 56-year-old Kemi Rita Sherpa improved her world record by climbing Mount Everest for the 32nd time.

Apart from them, 52-year-old Lakhpa Sherpa set a new record for women by climbing Everest for the 11th time, and Russian mountaineer Rustam Nabiyev, who lost both legs, climbed Mount Everest with only his hands.
