Dambulla Sixers have signed Pakistan opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan as their icon player for Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2026.
The franchise announced on social media that Sahibzada Farhan will represent Dambulla Sixers next season.
His inclusion comes after impressive performances in the recent ICC Men’s World T20 World Cup and Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11.
Sahibzada Farhan said in his statement that the warning of the icon actor! Pakistani Sahibzada Farhan has been part of the iconic Dambulla Sixers squad for the upcoming LPL season.
It is worth mentioning that the right winger Sahibzada Farhan is one of the most famous short-form batsmen of Pakistan. He scored 383 runs in seven matches in T20 World Cup 2026, in which he also scored two centuries and two fifties.
Sahibzada Farhan, who has played 46 T20 Internationals for Pakistan, has scored 1305 runs, including 10 half-centuries and two centuries.
Sahibzada Farhan’s record in PSL was also interesting. He has scored 1286 runs in 44 matches, scoring eight fifties and two centuries.
Note that LPL 2026 will start from July 17, where the defending champions Jaffna Kings and Gael Marvels will meet in the opening match and the tournament will continue until August 8.
