Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 78 runs in the second test match.
On the fifth day of the match played in Sylhet, Pakistan started the game with 316 runs and 7 wickets and they needed 121 more runs to win.
Muhammad Rizwan (94) and Sajid Khan (28) put up some resistance but could not give the team victory.
Chasing a target of 437 runs, the entire team was bowled out for 358 runs.
Captain Shan Masood and Salman Akha 71, 71, Babar Azam 47, Azan Oweys 21, Abdullah Fazal and Saud Shakeel 6, 6, Hasan Ali and Khurram Shehzad were dismissed without success.
Tejul Islam 6, Nahid Rana 2, Shoreful Islam and Mehdi Hasan each got a wicket for Bangladesh.
It must be remembered that Pakistan won and invited Bangladesh to bat first.
Bangladesh scored 278 runs in their first innings in reply to Pakistan’s 232 in their first innings.
Bangladesh team were all out for 390 runs in their second innings and gave Pakistan a huge target of 437 runs to win.
