Report: Soheyl Imran. Former captain Michael Vaughan has criticized the English Cricket Board (ECB) for allowing fast bowler Jofra Archer to continue in the IPL.

Michael Vaughan took to his box on a TV show and said that with England’s crucial Test series starting and Jofra Archer staying in India, it seems that some things have been settled between the Indian board and the ECB.

Michael Vaughan criticized Jofra Archer for allowing the IPL to continue, saying that if a player with a central contract can prioritize franchise cricket over national duty, some players have been allowed to continue with the IPL out of compromise.

He said the ECB said Jofra Archer will continue in the IPL and will not be available for the first test against New Zealand.

Michael Vaughan said the ECB had supported Jofra Archer for years by awarding central contracts, the national task should be the first priority.

The former captain of the English team said that French cricket is very good for cricketers financially and professionally, but Test cricket cannot be put behind the domestic cricket league.

He said that if England wants players to play in IPL, then make a schedule so that there is no clash. The first Test of the three-Test series between England and New Zealand will begin on June 4 at Lord’s.
