Report: Soheyl Imran. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has received invitation for ICC Board Meeting and IPL Final.
According to sources, Prime Minister Shehba Sharif will take the final decision whether President Mohsin Naqvi will go to India or not.
These sources reveal that Mohsin Naqvi is sending the invitation to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The IPL final is scheduled for May 31 in Ahmedabad.
On the other hand, according to the Cricket website, the International Cricket Council (ICC) meetings will be held in two phases this month, the virtual meeting of the ICC Executive Committee chairman will be held on May 21 and the Cricket Board meeting will be held on May 30 and 31 in Ahmedabad, India.
It is worth mentioning that the ICC board meeting is held on the occasion of the IPL final and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will also attend the board meeting.
According to the Cricket website, according to the current situation, the participation of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in the Ahmedabad meeting is not clear.
According to the cricket website, changes in the format of the World Test Championship (WTC) will be discussed at the ICC meeting and the working group headed by former New Zealand cricketer Roger Toews has prepared new proposals on the changes in the format.
The cricket website said that Zimbabwe, Ireland and Afghanistan will be considered for inclusion in the World Test Championship and a one-Test series will also be proposed to include points in the WTC.
