Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has received an official invitation for ICC Board Meeting and IPL Final in India.
According to the Cricket website, the meetings of the International Cricket Council will be held in two phases this month. The first meeting of the Executive Committee will be held online on May 21, while the board meeting will be held on May 30 and 31 in Ahmedabad, India.
The meeting will consider possible changes in the format of the World Test Championship, which under the current system requires at least two Test matches to be played in each series. Apart from this proposal, Zimbabwe, Ireland and Afghanistan will also be considered in this championship.
Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will represent the Pakistan Cricket Board in the board meeting, but the final decision about his departure to India will depend on the Prime Minister’s approval.
