English county club Yorkshire have included Pakistani veteran Faheem Ashraf in the squad for this season’s Vitality Blast.
According to reports, 32-year-old Faheem Ashraf will join the team in place of Australian player Will Sutherland, who withdrew from the tournament due to a shoulder injury.
Faheem Ashraf has also played English county cricket. He has represented Northamptonshire and Sussex.

Faheem Ashraf will join the squad ahead of Yorkshire’s first Vitality Blast match against Nottinghamshire on May 22.
Faheem Ashraf will also be available for the two County Championship matches against Warwickshire and Leicestershire.
Faheem Ashraf expressed his delight at joining Yorkshire and said that many Pakistani players have represented the club and appreciated the atmosphere and quality of the team here.
Faheem Ashraf, who played 85 T20 internationals for Pakistan, also holds the distinction of being the second player to complete 1000 runs and 100 wickets in the PSL.
