Fans showed great interest in the T20 Women’s World Cup and bought a record number of tickets.
The 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will soon cross 150,000 tickets sold, the most before the opening match at any previous event.
The opening match will be played between hosts England and Sri Lanka in Birmingham.
Although the event is still 30 days away, it has already become a record-breaking event.

The speed at which tickets are being sold, officials are confident that the peak of one and a half million will soon be exceeded.
Previously, a record 136,549 tickets were sold in the edition held in Australia in 2020.
It is worth mentioning that in the warm-up matches, the Pakistan team will face Sri Lanka in the June 6 derby, and the Scotland team will face the green shirts in the June 9 derby.
