Dhaka Test: Bangladesh start the fourth day with a lead of 34 runs

The fourth day of the ongoing first test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh has started at the Sher Bangla Stadium, with the Bangladeshi team leading by 34 runs.

The Bangladesh team scored 413 runs in the first innings, in response the Pakistan team scored 386 runs and lost by 27 runs.

On the third day of play yesterday, the home team scored 7 runs by the end of the day. Today at the beginning of the day, Mahmoodul Hasan Joy 2 and Shadman Islam are in Sefer.

In the first matches on behalf of Bangladesh, captain Najamul Hasan Shinto scored 101 runs and Mominul Haq scored 91 runs and became the famous batsman.

Mohammad Abbas 5, Shaheen Afridi 3 and Hasan Ali and Numan Ali each scored a goal on behalf of Pakistan.

Pakistan team scored 386 runs against 413 in their first innings, opener Azan Owais played 103 runs and the other Abdullah Fazal played 60 runs.

Azan Owais and Abdullah Fazal shared a 104-run partnership for the second wicket on debut, becoming the third Pakistani pair to form a century partnership.

For the third time in Pakistan’s history, both debutants shared a century in Test cricket.

Khalid Ibadullah, Abdul Qadir scored 249 runs against Australia in 1964 followed by Muhammad Hafeez, Yasir Hamid who added 134 runs against Bangladesh in 2003.

This is the 14th century partnership between debutants in Test cricket. In the first matches, Imamul Haqi scored 45 runs, Salman Ali Akha and Muhammad Rizwan scored 58 and 59 runs respectively.
