Report: Soheyl Imran. As part of the Future Futures Program (FTP), the English Cricket Board has come up with a plan to hold a 5-match home Test series with the Pakistan Cricket Team.
According to a British media report, England will host more 5-match series in the future, in which England will host a 5-match series with South Africa that includes Pakistan.
According to the report, England has also discussed with Pakistan and South Africa to host 5 Test matches.
According to British media, a Test series with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is included in the FTP, but England’s next FTP will begin next year with a home Ashes series with Australia.
British media say that there will be a white ball series with a test match series with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and this white ball series will be beneficial in terms of economy.
The next edition of the World Test Championship will consist of 12 teams with the addition of Ireland, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan.
It may be noted that a Test match series is taking place for the first time in the World Test Championship (WTC), but there have been at least two Tests previously.
According to the report, England is considering playing a Test against Zimbabwe for the first time since 1996-97, but the England team will not play a Test match with Afghanistan.
According to British media, the WTC proposal is for 12 teams to play 12 matches against 8 different teams, the next FTP will be from 2027 to 2031. England wants to organize its program until 2036.
