In a press conference before the first Test match at Mirpur Dhaka, Shan Masood said that in 2024, Bangladesh played very good cricket in Pakistan.
He said that we did not come to take revenge for this series, but we will not weaken any opponent. We will try to play good cricket and win the match.
To a question about Babar Azam, Shaun Masood said, “I think he is the best batsman Pakistan has ever had, he has scored countless runs and hopefully he will continue his recent PSL performance in Tests as well.”
He said that green wicket is not something new for us, we have played in Australia and South Africa in the last two and a half years, we have made similar wickets in Pakistan.
Shaan Masood said that the role of bowlers is very important in Test cricket because unless they take 20 wickets the chances of winning the match are less.
