Peshawar captain Zalmi Babar Azam scored the record for most runs and most centuries in a single Pakistan Super League (PSL) event.
In the PSL 11 match against Islamabad United, Babar Azam played a smoky 103 runs which included 4 sixes and 12 fours.
This is Babar Azam’s second century and fourth in this season, making him the first among the players with most centuries in the PSL.
It should be noted that apart from Babar Azam, Usman Khan of Hyderabad Kings has also scored 4 centuries in PSL.
Apart from this, Babar Azam also equaled Fakhar Zaman’s record for the most runs in a single edition of PSL.
Babar Azam has scored 588 runs in the competition so far and Fakhar Zaman has scored 588 runs in 2022 while playing for Lahore Qalandars.
The interesting thing here is that Babar Azam has scored 500 or more runs four times in PSL.
