Report: Feyzan Lakhani. The performance of Pakistani wrestlers was very good in the Asian Games that are going on in Sania, China, and two medals were secured. Inam Butt and Esadullah reached the finals.
At the Asian Wrestling Championships, Pakistan’s wrestling team performed well and in the 80 kg category, Asadullah won by defeating traditional rivals India in the quarter-finals and the host country China in the semi-finals.
In the 90 kg competition, Inam Butt defeated Bahrain in the quarter-finals and Mongolia in the semi-finals and advanced to the finals.
On the other hand, in the 70 kg competition, Muhammad Abdullah had to lose to the Indian wrestler in the semi-finals. Muhammed Abdullah will compete with the Kyrgyz wrestler for the bronze medal.
Pakistan Wrestling Federation Secretary Inam Butt expressed his happiness for the good performance of the wrestlers and asked the nation to pray for the success of the wrestlers in the finals.
