The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the match officials for the play-off stage of the Pakistan Super League.
According to the PCB, international umpires and match referees have been appointed for Eliminator One on April 29 and Eliminator Two on May 1, including today’s match to be played at the National Stadium.
Richard Richardson will be the referee of the match, Christopher Gifani and Alexander Wharf will be the on-field referees, Faisal Khan Afridi will be the third referee and Zulfiqar John will be the fourth referee.
Apart from this, Sri Lanka’s Roshan Mahnama, who has the honor of officiating in all 11 editions of the PSL, will be the match referee in both the matches.
In the first match between Hyderabad and Multan Sultans to be played on April 29 at Gaddafi Stadium, the on-field umpires will be Shahid Sakat and Asif Yaqoob from Bangladesh, Rashid Riaz will be the third umpire and Nasir Hussain will be the fourth umpire.
Ehsan Raza and Shahid Sakat will be the on-field umpires and Asif Yaqub and Rashid Riaz will be the third and fourth runners-up in the second match on May 1 between the loser of the match and the winner of the first match.
It is worth mentioning that the PCB has also announced that the officials of the final match scheduled on May 3 will be announced later.
