After the victory against Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings left, losing first to Peshawar Zalmi

In the 38th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11, Lahore Qalandars defeated unbeaten Peshawar Zalmi by 6 wickets.

In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Lahore Qalanders won 200 runs in 3 overs and lost 4 wickets against Peshawar Zalmi.

Defending champions Lahore Qalandars Fakhar Zaman remained unbeaten on 58 and Daniel Simms on 35 as Peshawar Zalmi suffered their first defeat in PSL 11.

Earlier, while batting at the front, Peshawar Zalmi scored 199 runs with 4 wickets in 20 overs, Bracewell remained unbeaten on 83 runs and Babar Azam played 58 runs.

Şahin Afrini and Haris Rauf took 2 wickets each for Qalendaran.

Fakhar Zaman of Lahore Qalandars was adjudged the man of the match for his good batting performance.

With the victory of Lahore Qalandars against Peshawar Zalmi, Kings Karachi’s journey in the event came to an end. Now the defending champion has reached the fourth place in the points list.

Hyderabad Kingsmen are also in the first round, they will have to beat Rawalpindi by a big margin in their last group match to reach the next stage as their run rate will be better than Lahore Qalandars.

Hyderabad Kings have to score 85 runs or whatever the target is in 10 overs against Rawalpindi.

Despite the defeat, Peshawar Zalmi is in the first place in the points table, for the second place, Islamabad United and Multan Sultans will compete tomorrow evening.

The winner of this match will play a match against Peshawar Zalmi on April 28, and the winner will go to the final.

The first match of PSL 11 will be held on April 29 between the third and fourth placed teams, the winner of this match will face the second placed team in Eliminator 2 to reach the final.
