England Test captain Ben Stokes has been sporting a new look after a recent surgery which has caught the attention of cricket fans.
In a video posted on his Instagram account ahead of England’s home season, Stokes looks much thinner than before.
In a video shared in collaboration with the England Cricket Board, the new kits of the England cricket team were introduced.
The video featured a number of star players including Adil Rashid, Mark Wood, Gus Atkinson and Ben Duckett, but it was Ben Stokes’ altered look that attracted the most attention.
It is worth mentioning that Stokes was hit in the face by a ball during the Nets session earlier this year and then had to undergo facial surgery.
Recalling the incident, Stokes said he was lucky to avoid a major accident.
In this regard, Ben Stokes told the sports website that it was a very scary moment, the ball came straight to my face. If it had been a few inches, I probably wouldn’t be doing this interview today, I had a lot of cuts under my arm, but luckily I survived.
