Cricket fans were allowed to come to the stadium for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 final.
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced on social networking site X that he has requested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to allow fans to enter the stadium.
According to the statement of the PCB Presidency, Prime Minister Shehba Sharif was in favor of allowing spectators, but stated that there is violence throughout the country and measures have been taken to reduce fuel consumption.
Mohsin Naqvi said that on the request of the franchise owners, the Prime Minister specifically approved the participation of fans in the final of PSL 11.
The PCB president thanked the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for this decision and said that this initiative will give the cricket lovers the best opportunity for fun and entertainment.
It is worth mentioning that the final of the Pakistan Super League will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday, May 3.
