In the 33rd match of the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Hyderabad Kingsmen won their fourth consecutive win by beating Multan Sultans by 4 wickets.
In the match played at National Stadium, Karachi, Multan Sultans scored 214 runs against Hyderabad Kingsmen, which they won by losing 6 wickets after scoring 3 goals.
The highlight of the match were the centuries scored by both batting lines, with Steve Smith of Multan Sultans scoring 106 and Usman Khan of Hyderabad scoring 101.
Chasing the target, Hyderabad Kingsmen wicketkeeper Marinus Labushin scored 61, but Hasan Khan scored just 6 for 24.
Petersdale and Muhammad Ismail also took 3 and 3 wickets respectively.
Batting first, Multan Sultans scored 213 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Sahibzada Farhan and the experienced Steve Smith formed a century partnership, Farhan was dismissed after playing 66 episodes.
Smith scored his first century in the PSL and sixth of his T20 career, scoring 106 runs off 50 balls, sharing 19 runs with Josh Flappe.
On behalf of Hyderabad Kingsmen, Akif Javed took 3 wickets, Muhammad Ali, Haneen Shah, Hasan Khan and Glenn Maxwell took one wicket each.
Kingsmen’s Usman Khan was awarded Man of the Match for his good batting performance.
