One of the players who has fully benefited from this platform is Islamabad United’s young cricketer Sameer Minhas, who always attracts attention with his performances.
Sameer Minhas, part of Islamabad United, has already represented Pakistan Under-19 and is now determined to make the most of the opportunities in the PSL.
In an interview given to Geo News, Sameer Minhas expressed his happiness with the team’s performance and said that the team is playing good cricket overall and many players are performing brilliantly.
Regarding his personal performance, he said his goal is simply to use the opportunity effectively and play important games for the team.
Sameer Minhas described the experience of playing with senior PSL players as very important, and said that one learns a lot from the experienced cricketers in the dressing room, including improving the mindset and playing skills.
He said that although he doesn’t think much about how beneficial the platform is, the fact is that there are countless learning opportunities.
On his future goals, Sameer Minhas said that like every cricketer, his dream is to play for Pakistan and bring success to the country.
He said that right now, his focus is on making the most of the opportunities in the PSL so that when he gets the chance to play for the national team, he can perform at his best.
Recalling his U-19 cricket days, he said that even then his focus was on team success and not individual performance and winning the Asia Cup was one of his main goals, which the team won.
Samir Minhas said that he wants to continue his work in the future in order to repeat his performance at the highest level.
Regarding the communication with the players, he said that during the nets, the players are constantly communicating with each other, pointing out each other’s mistakes which helps in improving.
The young cricketer expressed his determination that he wants to take his place in Pakistan cricket through his hard work and performance.
