Report: Atiqur Rahman Sri Lanka’s Dasan Shanaka has been booked for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 12.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has imposed a one-year ban on the Sri Lankan cricketer.

According to PCB, Dasan Shanka of Lahore Qalandars has breached the contract, PCB has taken strict action for breaching the contract.

The Cricket Board says that Dasan Shanaka’s withdrawal from the PSL is a clear violation of the rules, protecting the reputation and quality of the PSL is the highest priority.

Sri Lankan cricketer Dasan Shanaka said he regretted the decision and apologized to Pakistani fans. There was no intention to join any other league.

Dasan Shanaka has been suspended from participating in PSL 12.

Which player has been banned before?

It should be noted that Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarbani was banned for breaching the contract.

The PCB has imposed a 2-year ban on the Zimbabwe fast bowler, who will not be able to participate in the next two editions of the PSL.

It is worth mentioning that last year a similar ban was applied to South Africa’s Carbon Bush.
