The former captain of the National Cricket Team, Muhammad Rizwan, says that my place in the national team is not based on such performance.
Muhammad Rizwan said in a press conference at the National Stadium in Karachi that, during the Big Bash League, I personally told Haris Rauf that my current performance does not give me a place in the team, but it does not mean that I lose my heart.
He addressed the reporters and said that I am the same person you said about him that he cannot hit a six.
Mohammad Rizwan said that we are human, we have made mistakes, but I love cricket, I don’t like anything else, maybe my hard work was low, that’s why the performance was bad.
He also said that I myself told the captain that my performance is not good, give someone else a chance instead.
Muhammad Rizwan was asked if he should retire from T20 cricket. Here’s what he had to say pic.twitter.com/u0h8emrwTO
