The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned Zimbabwean fast bowler Blessing Mozarbani from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for 2 years.
According to a statement issued by the PCB, Mozharbani has been suspended from participating in the PSL for the next 2 editions with immediate effect following extensive disciplinary action.
It should be noted that this decision was taken on behalf of the PCB in violation of the player’s contract and neglect of professional responsibilities.
The PCB says that despite agreeing on clear terms, the player in question opted for controversial engagements which harmed the professional structure of the league.
The statement added that the ban is a necessary step to protect the league’s professional environment and the PSL will ensure that all players abide by the contracts.
It should be noted that Blessing Muzarbaani joined IPL after signing a contract with PSL.
