The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the T20 Women’s World Cup award.
It is worth mentioning that the prize money of the T20 World Cup has increased by 10% compared to the previous World Cup.
The total prize money of the T20 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in 2026, increased from 7.9 million dollars to 8,764,615 dollars.
The winning team of the World Cup will receive 23 million and 40 thousand dollars and the second team of the World Cup will receive 11 million and 70 thousand dollars.
Losing semi-final teams will receive $675,000, while the winning team in the group stage will receive $31,154.
Each team that participates in the tournament will receive 247 thousand dollars. The total prize money of the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2024 was 7958 thousand dollars.
Remember that the Women’s T20 World Cup will be played in England from June 12.
