In the 20th match of the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the new team of the league, Hyderabad Kingsmen, finally tasted victory in the 5th match of their campaign.
In the match played at Karachi National Stadium, Karachi Kings scored 189 runs against Hyderabad Kingsmen, which they won in 5 balls for the loss of 6 wickets.
Hyderabad Kingsmen won and invited Karachi Kings to bat first, scoring 188 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Saad Baig retired with 53 runs, among other players, Moin Ali scored 44 runs, Azam Khan 26, Mohammed Wasim 25 and Salman Ali Agha 24 runs.
Hyderabad Haneen Shah 3 and Muhammad Ali 2 took the players to the pavilion.
Chasing the target, Hyderabad Kingsmen’s Moaz Sadaqat scored 37 runs, Usman Khan 27 runs, Marnes Labushin 26 runs, Kaushal Perera 17 runs, Maxwell 2 runs and Saeem Ayub scored 6 runs.
Hasan Khan scored 33 and Irfan Khan Niazi scored 29 runs to lead the team to their first win, Abbas Afridi took 2 wickets for Karachi Kings.
