Pakistan Women’s Football Team started the FIFA series with a good performance beating Turks and Caicos Islands 0-8.
This is Pakistan Women’s biggest win in history, surpassing their 0-7 win against Maldives in September 2022.
In the first half of the match, 4 different players scored and gave the team the lead.
The first goal was scored by Zahmina Malik and Aqsa Mushtaq, Leyla Benares and Meryem Mahmud.
In the second half, Nadiya Khan scored the fifth goal by herself, Eqsa scored another beautiful goal and the result was 0-6.
Leela scored her second goal in the second half and finally Isra Khan scored the last goal in the 81st minute and this victory became historic.
PFF President Mohsin Gilani congratulated the team for the historic victory of Pakistan women and said that I congratulate the players and the coaching staff.
He said that this is the beginning of a new era for women’s football in Pakistan and hopes that the team will progress in the FIFA series with the same spirit.
