A minor scuffle during a cricket match in India turned deadly.

According to Indian media reports, umpire Dola Ajit Babu was killed during a local cricket match due to an altercation, when the killer fled the scene.

This tragic incident happened in the city of Visakhapatnam in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

According to the police, an argument broke out between the three teams on Sunday evening over the runaway decision, which was temporarily ended by umpire Ajit Babu and his partner Budumuri Chiranjeevi.

However, a fan, Kanta Kishore, got angry over the issue and started taking action.

Then he called the judges to settle the matter. After the match ended, when they reached the scene, a heated argument broke out again and the accused suddenly took out a knife and attacked him.

Ajit Babu was seriously injured and others were also injured. According to family members, the accused was drunk and had already planned the attack.
