Former captain Younis Khan is likely to take on important responsibilities in the PCB.
After being contacted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the legendary batsman has offered his services for the betterment of cricket.
Younis Khan’s name is also mentioned in the proposed list as the new internal manager of PCB.
Like Sarfraz Ahmed and Misbah-ul-Haq, the board is also keen on availing the services of Younis Khan to further improve the batting order.
Younis Khan, who scored over 10,000 runs in 118 Test matches, represented the country in 265 ODIs and 25 T20 matches, was also the coach of the national team earlier.
PCB officials had officially contacted Younis Khan a few days ago and he had made his presence known.
Only if the problems are solved, after the approval of the chairman of the board, Mohsin Naqvi, the official announcement of Yunis Khan can be made.
