Asim Khan won the World Squash Championships and Hamza Khan suffered a disappointing defeat.
Asim Khan defeated Japan’s Naoki Hayashi 3-0 in the second match of the Asian qualifiers of the World Squash Championship.
In the 40-minute match, Asim Khan won with the results of 11-7, 12-10, 11-7.
No. 7 and former world junior champion Hamza Khan crashed out in the first round of the qualifiers, losing 3-1 to Hong Kong’s Ming Hong Teng.
The match between Hamza Khan and Ming Hong Teng continued for 52 minutes and the final score was 17-15, 11-13, 11-7, 11-5.
