Report: Soheyl Imran. Lahore young fast bowler Qalender Obed Shah says that bowling with Shaheen Afrini, Haris Rauf and Mustafizur Rehman is a big deal for me and I will learn from here and move forward.
Speaking to Geo News in Lahore, Obaid Shah, younger brother of speedster Naseem Shah, said that after Islamabad United and Multan Sultans, now I got an opportunity from Lahore Qalandars.
He said that with the presence of Shaheen Afridi, Haris Reuf and Mustafiz, this is our best bowling in the PSL. I get a chance to learn a lot from senior and experienced fast bowlers.
Continuing his speech, Obed Shah said that it is a great thing for me to bowl with fast bowlers. Captain Şahin Afrini believes in me, I start bowling with him, this is an honor for me.
The right-handed fast bowler said that when I play a tournament, it’s about doing well for the team and being the best player.
Obeid Shah believes that T20 cricket is a game of mind, the faster you think you will be more successful, the batsman has to understand what he wants to do and then you have to adjust accordingly.
“Batters have all kinds of shots, so the bowler has to play with his mind, I’ve worked hard to bring variety and it’s paying off,” he said.
