In Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, Multan Sultans beat Islamabad United by 5 wickets.

In the fourth match of the tournament played at the Qadhafi Stadium, Lahore, Multan Sultans reached their target of 172 for the loss of 5 wickets in 18.4 overs.

Josh Flappi scored 55 runs for Sultans. Captain Ashton Turner played an unbeaten 43 runs.

Among other batsmen, Steven Smith scored 31 runs, Arafat Minhas scored 25 runs, Shaan Masood scored 6 runs and Sahibzada Farhan scored 2 runs. Muhammad Nawaz won 7 runs and did not return to the pavilion.

On behalf of United, Salman Irshad and captain Shadab Khan took 2 wickets each. Imad Wasim fired 1 player.

Earlier, at the invitation of Multan Sultans, Islamabad United scored 171 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted overs.

Mark Chapman scored 40 runs on behalf of Islamabad United. Sameer Minhas 28, Faheem Ashraf 26, Devon Conway 26, Haider Ali 13, Andre Hoss 11, Imad Wasim 8 and Shadab Khan 4.

Salman Mirza returned to the pavilion without getting 3 runs.

On behalf of Multan Sultans, Momin Qamar 3 and Muhammad Wasim fired 2 players. Peter Siddle, Arafat Minhas and Muhammad Nawaz took 1 wicket each.
