Pakistan Super League Karachi Kings owner Salman Iqbal expressed his dismay at the empty stadiums.
In a statement on social media site X, he said the scene is heartbreaking as he has been a part of the league since its inception.
Salman Iqbal requested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to let the cricket fans come to the stadiums again so that the glory of the game can be restored.
He said that the real beauty of PSL lies in the enthusiasm of the people and unless the fans are there, the enjoyment of the matches is incomplete.
The owner of Karachi Kings hoped that soon the stadiums will once again be filled to their capacity and the real atmosphere of cricket will return.
At the end he raised the national spirit by shouting the slogan ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.
