The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named Pakistan opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan as the player of the month for February.
Regarding this important performance, Hahibzada Farhan says, receiving this ICC award after performing on a big stage like the World Cup is a unique feeling, especially during the World Cup when fans from all over the world are watching you every moment, which makes your feelings even more special.
He added that he will always remember this tournament and is determined to continue the same performance in the upcoming series and I also thank my team for supporting me and believing in me.
It must be noted that in the ICCT World Twenty20, Sahibzada Farhan became the highest scorer of the event, scoring 383 runs in 6 innings at an excellent average of 76.60, which included two centuries.
It is also worth mentioning that during the T20 World Cup, Sahibzada Farhan also made a record partnership of 176 runs with Fakhar Zaman, which is the highest partnership for any wicket in T20 International cricket.
It is worth mentioning that Sahibzada Farhan is ranked third in the ICCT Twenty20 Batters list and India’s Abhishek Sharma is ranked first and Ishan Kishan is second.
