Lahore:
The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that it will hold PSL 11 only in Karachi and Lahore without fans and cancel the opening ceremony of the tournament.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi while giving a press conference at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore said that PSL 11 will start as per schedule from March 26, but as part of economic measures, it is decided to hold the tournament only in two cities and without spectators.
Mohsin Naqvi said that due to the situation in the region, the Prime Minister has announced austerity measures, he will give the new tournament program where the movement of the players is at the lowest level.
He said PSL should be closed, PCB will give gate money to franchises, international players will start coming to participate in the tournament in two days.
Mohsin Naqvi said, as long as the crisis continues, the crowd will not be allowed to come to the stadium, if the situation becomes normal, the crowd will be allowed to come to the stadium. It is not known how long the current war will last. If the government did not subsidize diesel, it would have exceeded 500.
