Report: Feyzan Lakhani. The FIFA Disciplinary Committee took great measures against the Israel Football Association and declared it guilty for many violations.
According to reports, the Israel Football Association was found responsible for discrimination and violation of the rules of the game in the action that was started at the request of the Palestine Football Association.
It is worth mentioning that the FIFA Council referred the matter to the Disciplinary Board and after that measures were taken according to articles 13 and 15 of the FIFA Disciplinary Law.
The ruling fined the Israel Football Association 150,000 Swiss francs and issued a stern warning, while allowing it to display prominent anti-discrimination banners at three of its home matches.
FIFA has also ordered the Israel Football Association to prepare a comprehensive plan to end discrimination and this plan will be implemented with the approval of FIFA.
FIFA has also directed the payment of the fine under certain conditions, according to which one-third of the fine must be spent on anti-discrimination measures, and the remaining one-third must be spent on corrective measures.
FIFA also ordered the Israel Football Association to develop a comprehensive anti-discrimination plan within 60 days, which includes reform campaigns, regulations, monitoring and training.
The Israel Football Association has been decided by FIFA to implement the plan for a full period and to pay the rest of the fine within 30 days.
FIFA says that even in difficult situations, football should be a platform for unity and solidarity, and the reasons for this decision have been fully communicated to the Israel Football Association.
