According to reports Sunil Gavaskar criticized the Indian owner of Sunrisers Group Kavya Maran.
In his column, Gavaskar said that the money received by Indian franchises from buying Pakistani players ultimately goes to the Pakistani government through taxes, which he controversially described as detrimental to Indian citizens.
