The PSL 11 trophy ceremony was held at the new building of National Stadium Karachi on Wednesday, in a simple yet grand ceremony, PSL CEO Salman Naseer was the chief guest.
Owners and representatives of participating franchises in the league were also present at the ceremony, including Nadeem Umar of Quetta Gladiator, Sulaiman Iqbal of Kings Karachi, Atif Rana of Lahore Qalandar, Ahsan Tahir of Rawalpindi Pindies.
In his welcoming speech, Salman Nasir said that PSL has entered a new era, 10 years of the league have passed in different eras, the league has become a family, failure is a part of the game, the league has become a tree, this year 8 teams will participate in the record.
It is worth mentioning that the 11th round of the 8-team league will be played from March 26 to May 10. The opening match between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and Hyderabad Kingsmen will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
PSL 11; When and where will the award ceremony be held?
8 teams will participate in PSL 11 for the first time, two new teams Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi Pindies are included, league matches will be played in 6 cities, Faisalabad and Peshawar will host PSL matches for the first time.
Each team will play 10 matches in the league stage, the playoffs will start from 28 April, 11 matches including one match will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Gaddafi Stadium will host 15 matches, 7 matches will be played at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, the first time host, Imran Khan will also host HBL CPSsharicket.
Multan Sultans will be in action in all 4 matches at Multan Cricket Stadium, National Stadium in Karachi will host 6 matches, the first match will be played on April 8 between Peshawar Zalmi and Hyderabad Kingsmen.
Next day, Karachi Kings will play Peshawar Zalmi on April 9, Quetta Gladiator will play Rawalpindi Pandans on April 10, Karachi Kings and Hyderabad Kingsmen will play on April 11, Islamabad United and Karachi Kings on April 12 and Islamabad and Karachi Kings will play on April 16.
