Indian actor and film critic Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK) termed India’s semi-final and final in ICCT Twenty20 World Cup 2026 as a waste of time.
Indian player Kamal Rashid Khan, after the Indian Cricket team won the T20 World Cup for the second time in a row, mocked the cricket board and the team on the social networking site ‘X’.
In his post, he addressed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and jokingly congratulated the board and the team for winning the T20 World Cup.
Congratulations to the team #BCCI to get #t20worldcup2026!
Both the semi-final and the final match are a waste of time. Each match is decided by the first one.— KRK (@kamaalrkhan) March 8, 2026
He said that both the ICCT World Twenty20 semi-finals and the India vs New Zealand final were a waste of time as the results of the matches were declared in the same matches.
He claimed that the match was decided in India’s first semi-final and final matches.
It is worth noting that both the semi-finals and the final of the T-Twin World Cup were held in India after Pakistan and Sri Lanka withdrew from the joint hosting by India and Sri Lanka.
In the first semi-final at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, New Zealand defeated a strong team like South Africa in a one-sided contest.
In the second semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India beat England by a record target of 254 runs to win the match.
Later, in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, India, set a mammoth target of 256 runs in reply to which the Kiwis were bowled out for 159 runs.
