T20 World Cup 2026 ends with broken records.

In the final match played at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad, India successfully defended the title by defeating New Zealand.

In this World Cup, 20 teams met for the first time and a total of 55 matches were played.

A total of 17582 runs including 7 centuries and 86 fifties were scored in the event, of which 3270 runs were scored in the last three overs of the innings.

5411 runs were scored in the first power play while 101 runs were scored from the free kick.

In the event, 780 sixes and 1434 fours were hit, that is, a total of 10416 runs were scored with the help of boundaries.

Of those, 5736 runs were scored with the help of four and 4680 runs were scored with the help of six.

Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan not only became the top scorer by scoring 383 runs with the help of 2 centuries, but also became the first batsman to score two centuries in a single edition of the T20 World Cup.

Canada’s Yuvraj Samra, who scored 110 runs against New Zealand, has won the most individual runs in this tournament.

In this event, batsmen were dismissed 95 times.

On the bowling records a total of 12059 balls were bowled with 46 balls and 429 wides.

53% of fast bowlers and 47% of spinners were used in bowling. The dogs bowled a total of 14 balls and scored 699 wickets.

India’s Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakraborty topped the list with 14 and 14 wickets respectively.

The honor of taking the most wickets in an innings went to Romario Shepherd of West Indies who took 5 wickets for 20 runs against Scotland.

If we look at the fields, 485 catches were caught and 110 were thrown. Apart from this, 123 wickets were dismissed, 32 lbw, 39 runs and 20 others were dismissed.
