After winning the 2026 ICCT Twenty20 World Cup, Indian team captain Surya Kumar Yadav has now set his eyes on the 2028 Olympics gold medal.

In a press conference after the final in Ahmedabad, Indian captain Surya Kumar Yadav said that the last one-month journey has been good for the team.

He said that he is very happy with this success and now his next goal is to win a gold medal in the 2028 Olympics.

It is worth mentioning that the International Olympic Committee included cricket in the Olympic program for the first time after the 1900 Paris Olympics.

Note that the ICCT World Twenty20 final was played in Ahmedabad where New Zealand won the championship and decided to bowl first, in which the Indian team scored 255 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
