The good news came from Pakistan Tennis that International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) have included Pakistani officials in various important committees to support the tournament from 2026 to 2027.
In the ITF Committee, Pakistani Eysam-ul-Haq was included in the ITF Athletes’ Commission, and former world-famous tennis players are also included in this commission.
On the other hand, for the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) Committee for the year 2026-2027, Pakistani representatives took important positions in various committees.
Salim Seyfullah was appointed in the Finance Committee, Development Advisory Group, Legal, Constitutional and Ethics Committee and Ziauddin Junior and Coaches Development Committee, Rashid Malik in the Marketing and Sponsorship Committee, Shahzad Akhtar Tournament Responsible Committee, Sara Mansoor Advantage All Committee and Khalid Rahmani Committee and Khalid Rahmani in the Image Committee.
Pakistan Tennis Federation Patron Senator Saleem Saifullah Khan said that this appointment shows that international tennis bodies have faith in the abilities of Pakistani officials and that they will play their role in the development and management of tennis at the world level.
The President of Pakistan Tennis Federation Easam-ul-Haq Qureshi called this development a place of pride for the country and said that the participation of Pakistani representatives in these important committees will further strengthen Pakistan’s role in world tennis and will create new opportunities for the development of sports in the region.
General Secretary of Pakistan Tennis Federation Colonel (Rtd) Ziauddin Tufail also congratulated all the appointed officials and hoped that they would represent Pakistan well at the world level.
