Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) will be divided into 6 professional divisions.
In the first meeting of the PHF ad hoc committee, the agenda of strategic reforms for the revival of hockey was revealed.
According to PHF officials, the plan aims to revive hockey from the grassroots to the elite level, with pillars of institutional transparency, data utilization and professional management.
According to officials, a 90-day road map has been approved for democratic system and transparency in PHF, talent hunt programs will be started at different age group levels for hockey talent.
According to PHF officials, the Under 21 Inter-University Championship will be organized under the leadership of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
According to the authorities, an agreement has been made with the company to organize the National Hockey League, and it has also been decided to bring back the Pakistan Customs hockey team.
According to the statement of the meeting, it was decided to procure second-hand grass from the Netherlands and Australia and to plant it in backward areas and to divide PHF into 6 professional sectors.
