National Hockey Team In the second round of the FIH Men’s World Cup qualifiers played from March 1 to 7, Pakistan beat Malaysia by 5 goals to reach the semi-finals.
Rana Waheed Ashraf, Zakaria Hayat, Ahmed Nadeem, Muhammad Sufyan Khan and Muhammad Amar each scored a goal for Pakistan. On behalf of Malaysia, Abdul Rauf, Ahkamullah, Fitri Sari each scored a goal.
A thrilling victory for Pakistan in the first match of the Hockey World Cup qualifier
Pakistan Hockey Federation President Mohiuddin Wani, Head of Ad Hoc Management and Administration Islaheddin Siddiqui, Olympian Hasan Sardar, Chief Selector Samiullah Khan congratulated the national team for their victory in the second round of the World Cup.
The national team will play the third match of the World Cup qualifiers against Austria on March 4.
