In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, the Pakistan cricket team has been eliminated from the semi-final competition.
In the crucial match against Sri Lanka in the Super Eight stage, Pakistan were knocked out of the semi-final, Pakistan had to bowl Sri Lanka 147 runs or less to qualify for the semi-final.
However, the Pakistani bowlers could not stop Sri Lanka scoring 147 runs and thus the Green Stones were eliminated from the T20 World Cup 2026.

Batting Pakistan first, Sri Lanka set a target of 213 runs. In pursuit of the target, the Sri Lankan team managed to score 207 runs. Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 5 runs, but Pakistan is out of the semi-final.
Due to Pakistan’s exit from the semi-finals, New Zealand entered the semi-finals with 3 points and a better score, while England advanced to the 4th final.
