In the 49th match of the T20 World Cup 2026, England defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets after an interesting match and won all their matches in the Super Eight stage.

In the match played in Colombo, New Zealand scored 159 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and had 3 balls to spare for the loss of 6 wickets.

In the event, Pakistan’s hopes to reach the semi-final are still healthy, tomorrow Pakistan and Sri Lanka will have a match, Pakistan will not only win the match but also need to improve their run rate.

First, Pakistan have to beat Sri Lanka by 65 runs to qualify for the semi-finals.
