The ICCT Twenty20 World Cup semi-final has entered the decisive phase. For the first time, an Asian team fears missing the semifinals.

India’s position at the hands of South Africa is uncertain, Pakistan is facing the same situation. Sri Lanka failed to qualify for the Super Eight after New Zealand were knocked out, and Bangladesh did not participate in the tournament in protest.

Pakistan should beat Sri Lanka in their last match and keep an eye on other results. India have to face Zimbabwe and West Indies. If the West Indies can beat South Africa, they can also qualify for the semi-finals.

New Zealand’s net rating is plus 3.050 while Pakistan’s is minus 0.461.

If New Zealand lose to England in their last match, Pakistan’s chances of survival will be high. New Zealand will also reach the semi-finals if they beat England at Palae Kale on Friday. And the match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on Saturday will be just a formality.
