The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced the new team management and appointed Olympian Khawaja Junaid as the head coach of the national hockey team.
Pakistan Hockey Team Players, Heads of Team Management and Development Committees met with Hockey Federation Ad Hoc President Mohiuddin Wani.
In the meeting, Muhyeddin Wani encouraged the players and said that the players should only focus on the game and shine the name of the country, they will be given all the opportunities.
He said that apart from the game, the federation itself will act on the problems, take responsibility for good and bad decisions and take all steps to restore the lost position in hockey.
Muhyeddin Wani informed that the necessary privileges will be given to the players, no unnecessary pressure will be applied and PHF will take responsibility for logistics, coordination and other matters outside the field.
It is worth noting that former international Azfar Yaqub will be the assistant coach, Sultan Ashraf will be the video analyst and Farrukh Atiq Khan will be the team manager.
