Mike Hesson said that the Pakistan Cricket team in the Super 8 stage is going to the field with full preparation and a clear strategy and every player is well informed about their role.

At the press conference in Colombo, the head coach said that the team has completed its preparations and the players understand their responsibilities well.

He praised New Zealand batsman Mark Chapman’s performance against Pakistan, saying that although he played a good game, every match brings different conditions and challenges, so there will be no focus on one player.

The head coach said about Usman Tariq that he is a player who is good in both attack and defense and his ability is very valuable for the team.

He clarified that psychological dominance in a match does not mean that success depends on skill, planning and thorough preparation.

Mike Hesson praised the performance of Abrar Ahmed and other spinners and said that spin bowling is the team’s strength and the team has full flexibility if the conditions require more.

On the balance of right and left wingers, he said that there are players like Muhammad Nawaz and Faheem Ashraf in the team who can play an important role when needed.

He also said that Fakhar Zaman is also a part of the team and when he is given a chance he can work well for the team.

The head coach said that the team is fully prepared for the start of the Super 8 stage and every player is determined to give the best performance according to their responsibility and talent.
