He said that action should be taken against those who traffic in people under the name of hockey, those who obtain visas on behalf of players should be suppressed, action should be taken against those who take women with them into men’s hockey teams.

He said that accountability is necessary for those who looted the nation’s treasury, it would be a joke to the nation to give immunity to such entities based on political pressure.

Shehla Raza said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, urgently listened to the issues of the national sport of hockey, dismissed the incompetent officials of the Pakistan Hockey Federation and sent the officials of the so-called PHF home because of the serious corruption of the Pakistan Hockey Federation team’s tour to Australia and the serious financial actions taken by the Pakistan Hockey Board. players

He said that despite paying serious money for the Pro League, the sacked federation is responsible for making the worst arrangements for the players of the Pakistan Hockey Team.

Shehla Raza said that Tariq Masuri broke records of administrative irregularities after taking the post of the President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, unfortunately the mafias of sports organizations in Pakistan are becoming politically influential, Rana Mujahid, who is involved in corruption, was recognized as the General Secretary of the PHF instead of Haider Hussain who used the right to vote in the South Asian Games.

“After Tariq Musuri took office, he did not conduct the Federation elections according to the mandate given to him by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, he relied on power himself and instead of investigating the financial regulations, he along with the stakeholders damaged the national treasury.”

He alleged that the role of Pakistan Sports Authority as well as Pakistan Olympic Association was questionable, FIH President Tayyab Ikram was also allegedly part of these conspiracies.

He said that the Director General of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Yasir Pirzada did not obey the orders of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sr.

“He was sent as a special observer during the recent visit to Australia, the government of Pakistan should conduct a comprehensive investigation into the sport against toxic elements and impose the heaviest penalties on those responsible so that the national sport can be cleansed of the mafia and develop on the basis of dignity, transparency and accountability.”

He also said that the time has come to reform the national sport of hockey, otherwise the name of hockey in Pakistan will not suit it.
