Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Secretary Rana Mujahid has resigned.
Government sources stated that the resignation of PHF Secretary Rana Mujahid has been accepted.
It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has paid attention to the problem of poor management of the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
Hockey Federation President Tariq Bugti resigned after the Prime Minister’s announcement.
Tariq Bugti spoke to the press and said that he has sent his resignation to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. I request the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal to form a committee to investigate.
It is worth remembering that even though the government received 25 billion rupees in aid to the Pakistan Hockey Federation, the players of the national hockey team were transferred to Australia.
Instead of staying in a five-star hotel, the players gave a non-standard accommodation and stayed in a house.
However, Tariq Bugti had announced a 2-year ban on Imad Shakeel Butt from domestic and international hockey, while the Pakistan Sports Authority was held responsible for mismanagement.
