Pakistan’s white-ball team coach, Mike Hesson, revealed the reason behind their 61-run defeat against India.
In the media briefing after the match in Colombo, Mike Hessen said that the second innings saw more slips than the first, the early shots fell early and no great partnerships were made.
He said that India outclassed us, everyone in the dressing room is disappointed after such a performance in the match.
The head coach of the white ball team also said, Ishan Kishan played a good game, took the match away from us, the Indian batsman put pressure on our spinners.
He also said that this is the role of Usman Tariq and he was brought in at the right time, we did not bat well in the match, we have to play better cricket to progress in the tournament.
Mike Hasson said that Salman Ali Agha’s first win was scheduled 3 days ago, the preemptive decision was correct, the ball turned more in the first innings.
“We played well for 2 months, but today we went backwards.”
